ISIA for DEWA 5 location project

In July 2019, ISIA , through Grundfos Gulf Distribution (GGD) bagged a contract to supply Chlorine Dioxide systems to DEWA (Dubai Electricity Water Authority) for the areas namely Al Rashidiya, Hatta, Habab, Najma & Al Khawaneej for the purpose of disinfecting the potable water at these Water transmission plants in the Emirate of Dubai.

All the 5 sites are in and around Dubai - namely Al Rashidiya, Najma & Al Khawaneej are the ones which are serving inside the Dubai and Hatta & Habab are for outside of Dubai. These Water transmissions are serving the Residential & also few Commercial customers for Al Rashidiya, Najma & Al Khawaneej and residential for Hatta & Habab keeping in mind the biggest Expo 2020 starting from October’20.

Estimated more than 100K+ people are going to be served.

 

 

 

ISIA is ready with the partial delivery of 2 units to DEWA by the end of November and will perform complete SAT to guarantee the start-up by february next year.

ISIA had been selected due to the strong references achieved in the past with the DEWA Jebel Ali Power Stations (JAPS). All the JAPS plants are installed with ISIA ClO2 systems from 2006 till date.

 

ISIA will deliver a fully tailored solution, each one including Grundfos DDA dosing pumps,  submerged U-type reactorsand Grundfos CRTE vertical centrifugal titanium pumps. The systems will be installed in a 40’ marine container and automatically controlled by a PLC.
